In the past, the recipe for these products was developed locally so as to fulfil local regulations; therefore they may differ between EU and EEA member states. More precisely, this can affect the size of the rings, as there is a different size preference in each country; however, it also applies to colourings as some markets require the use of natural colourants whereas other countries do not.
